What this app does
AASHTO 93 Pavement Design is a calculator that solves the 1993 AASHTO flexible and rigid pavement design equations in metric units. Engineering inputs you enter are processed in your browser to produce results.
Accounts & authentication
Optional accounts are available so you can unlock paid features. Sign-in uses email/password and Google via our managed authentication backend. Passwords are never stored by this app directly — they are handled by the authentication provider.
Data we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers.
- License/entitlement records: whether your account has an active license, used to unlock paid features.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We do not see or store full card numbers; we receive only the metadata needed to confirm your purchase.
- Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored on our servers.
Subprocessors & integrations
- Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, and serverless functions.
- Stripe — payment processing for license purchases.
- Google — optional sign-in provider.
Platform security controls
The app runs on Lovable Cloud. Database access is protected by row-level security policies so that account-scoped records are only readable by their owner. Server-side logic runs in an isolated serverless runtime, and secrets (API keys, webhook signing secrets) are stored as server-only environment variables — never shipped in client code. Traffic to aashto93.ca is served over HTTPS. These are platform capabilities we have enabled; they are not an independent certification.
Cookies & analytics
We use the minimum cookies required to keep you signed in and to complete checkout. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Data retention & deletion
Account and license records are kept while your account is active. To request account deletion or a copy of your data, contact the site owner using the address below.
Reporting a security issue
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please contact the site owner so it can be investigated and addressed. Please do not publicly disclose the issue before we have had a chance to respond.
Shared responsibility
Lovable provides the underlying platform capabilities described above. The site owner is responsible for how this app is configured and operated. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for validating engineering results against your project specifications before use.
